Overview
This page explains how to request deletion of your TriggerFlo account and the data associated with it, what is deleted, and what (if anything) is retained. It applies to the TriggerFlo mobile, desktop, and web applications operated by TriggerFlo.
How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data:
- Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your TriggerFlo account, with the subject "Account deletion request."
- So we can verify it's you, send the request from your account's email address (or include the email address you use to sign in).
- We'll confirm receipt and process the deletion. You'll receive an email once it's complete.
Note: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Your projects, tasks, time entries, comments, and uploaded files will be removed and cannot be recovered.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account profile (name, email address, phone number, and profile photo)
- Your projects, tasks, subtasks, notes, and Kanban boards
- Your time entries and focus-session history
- Your comments and uploaded files/attachments
- Your invoices and related records generated within the app
- Your device push-notification tokens and team/project memberships
What data is retained, and for how long
We delete your account and associated data within 30 days of a verified request. A limited set of records may be retained where required:
- Billing and transaction records: Minimal records of subscription or one-time purchases may be retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. These are kept only as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
- Backups: Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before they are rotated out and permanently overwritten.
- Content shared with teams: Content you contributed to a shared team or project owned by another user (for example, comments on a shared board) may remain visible to that team; it is disassociated from your deleted account.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You don't need to delete your account to remove individual data. Within the app you can delete individual projects, tasks, comments, attachments, and time entries at any time. If you'd like us to delete a specific category of data on your behalf, email [email protected] and describe what you'd like removed.
